Hinoki in Common is run by designer and founder, Anna Adams in Los Angeles California.

“For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to design clothes.  However, an urgency to enter the workforce at a young age and a paralyzing fear of failure kept me from pursuing a career in fashion.  

After almost two decades in the entertainment industry and a handful of attempts to exercise my creativity on the side, I finally decided to work on launching a brand that felt truly authentic.  

My hope is to have a place where I can bring all my creative ideas to life, while building a company that prioritizes people and environmentally responsible practices over profit.   It has always been my mission to create demand for design forward products that are made in the U.S. with as many materials as possible originating on American soil.  There is so much work to be done in order to bring industry back to this country, and I want to do my part by continually taking small steps in that direction.
